Understanding the Ranks
Each rank has it's own importance and the person carrying the rank should present it well.
Members are able to do both fields for the Guild but will be titled based on what they enjoy most in the game.
Rank is based off of leadership, enthusiasm and loyalty … Not Skill. Time in rank can be waived on a case by case basis.
Ashes [Probationary] (G-1) The starting position. An important position because it allows the person to learn the basics and advances of the game and how the Guild operates along with getting a feel with everyone.
Phoenix [Members] (G-2) This rank is very important position as it ensures that you’ve gained trust in the guild. Members in this rank have a lot of potential. Usually stay this rank for approx. 6 months if an active member.
Nether-Phoenix [Warlords] (G-3) The Nether-Phoenix is the core representatives of the Guild PvP Ranks. They enjoy PvP over any other part of the game (or at least that certain toon) and has spent some time in the Guild. They can be in-charge of/oversee PvP (Random/RBG) and Arena events. Also the Nether can recruit for their field.
Holy Phoenix [Raiders] (G-3) The Holy Phoenix is the representatives of the Guilds DragonSlaying team (aka Raiding Team). Like the Astral they help come up with ideas for new guild events (i.e. scenarios, dungeons runs, etc.) These members research raids before a guild raid. The Holy Phoenix must be patient, cooperate and work well with others. Seek knowledge and shares it to make the guild stronger. Holy Phoenix can recruit for their field and are encouraged to do so.
Astral Phoenix [Entrepreneurs] (G-3) The Astral Phoenix is the representatives of the Guilds Economic & Morale teams. Help come up with ideas for new guild events and create them on calendar (i.e. scenarios, dungeons runs, Old Content etc.) Seek knowledge and shares it to make the guild stronger and united. Some maybe great marketers and have financial knowledge for the game, seek them for advice (Not for begging!) These members are able to recruit for their field as well.
Guardians [Officer] (G-4) Guardians are Diverse and Versatile. Have a general knowledge on majority of concepts of the game along with some of the admin of the game. The Guardian are put in charge or oversee planned Events (or delegates others for such).
-- Can promote & recruit members as well. Guardians should coordinate between eachother and all members to receive feedback on what members goals are for in-game. Guardians can make good mentors for newer members. If a member is new to the game, they should notify a Guardian and certain actions should be administered in which the member feels they can be able to recieve certain help if possible (No hand holding is required, just direction is encouraged).
**Goal is to have at least one officer of every class**
Divine Phoenix [Asst/Co-GM] (G-5) The Divine Phoenix is one of the Eternal Phoenix’s most entrusted. The Divine is put in charge of & oversees all Guardians and Phoenixes Can be a very demanding position. “Not only do they have to fight the enemy, but they must also organize their allies” -- Has all the basic rights that the Eternal Phoenix holds. -- Can promote members up to Guardian position if they find suitable. -- When the Eternal (GM) is away they will make decisions for the guild
Eternal Phoenix [Guild Master] (G-6) This rank is the leading rank for the Guild. They are the Leaders and have final say in all decisions. The GM can promote up to any position and can create any event. The GM also is capable of removing members if completely necessary. The Eternal Phoenix is not completely set in stone as if an emergency or if in need a Divine Phoenix may become the Eternal Phoenix (which may not make it all that Eternal LOL).
Oasis Rank [Guild Safe Haven] (G-0) A member is placed under the care of the Guild. Only Divine or Eternal can place member there -- This Rank is only used for if a member hasn't been active for a certain period of time (2+ months)and or has informed the guild of his/her inactivity in the future.
-When placed in the Oasis status, the member needs to have a Guild Note - stating the Return date or any other valid information.
- If member hasn’t said anything about a break and hasn’t logged in for 6mos or more; member will be removed from guild. Toons that have been hacked recently also will be placed in the safeguard.
**Once member returns to the game, they should be placed in previous rank, unless suggested elsewise**
